Kristy L. Bennett is a seasoned attorney who focuses her legal practice on employment and civil rights law. With more than two decades of courtroom experience, Kristy has effectively advocated for clients facing workplace injustice, including discrimination, retaliation, and harassment. Kristy received her Bachelor of Science in English, cum laude, from the University of Mississippi in 1996. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 1999. While in law school, she was named to the Dean’s List and received both the Harry L. Case Memorial and Albert N. Hopkins Scholarships, along with the Outstanding Student Award in International Law.

Kristy began her legal career handling civil rights cases as the legal director for the ACLU of Mississippi. She later broadened her experience at employment-focused firms, where she litigated complex cases involving medical leave, overtime violations, and workplace harassment. Her strong courtroom presence has been proven through precedent-setting cases across state and federal courts.

Kristy holds Bar admission in Tennessee and Mississippi and is licensed to practice before several U.S. District Courts and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. She is an active member of the Tennessee Bar Association and the Mississippi Bar, consistently demonstrating her dedication to the legal profession.
