Kristina Martinez is a dedicated litigator who represents individuals facing serious legal challenges. Her work focuses on wrongful death, personal injury, sexual abuse and harassment, discrimination, civil rights, and family law matters, including divorce and custody. Kristina built a strong academic foundation for her legal career through focused study and achievement. She earned a B.A. in 2002 from the University of Arizona, graduating magna cum laude and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She later earned a J.D. in 2006 from the University of New Mexico School of Law, Albuquerque, New Mexico, graduating cum laude and participating on the UNM National Mock Trial Team.

Kristina began practicing law by handling complex civil litigation involving large energy companies. This experience exposed her to challenging legal disputes and helped her develop strong courtroom and case management skills. Over time, she chose to shift her focus toward representing individuals and families seeking justice.

Kristina now concentrates on plaintiff-focused litigation and family law, where she believes her work has the greatest impact. She assists clients in matters involving wrongful injury, discrimination, civil rights violations, and sensitive family disputes. Her goal is to guide people through difficult situations while seeking meaningful and practical solutions.

Kristina approaches family law with a collaborative mindset whenever possible. She works to reduce unnecessary conflict and encourages efficient resolutions that protect families and children. At the same time, she is prepared to advocate firmly when litigation becomes necessary to defend a client’s interests and rights.

Kristina is admitted to practice in New Mexico, the U.S. Court of Appeals 10th Circuit, and the U.S. District Court District of New Mexico. Her work has earned professional recognition, including Super Lawyers (2013–present) and Best Lawyers in America (2019), reflecting her reputation within the legal community.
