Kristen M. Barrow is a dedicated immigration attorney and consultant based in Louisville, Kentucky. Fully bilingual in Spanish and English, she offers compassionate legal services to individuals and families navigating the U.S. immigration system. Kristen’s practice focuses on family-based petitions, humanitarian visas such as VAWA, U, and T visas, and removal defense. Prior to opening her own law office, she gained valuable experience as an associate at the Law Office of Dennis M. Kristen earned her J.D. from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law in 2018. During law school, she received a CALI Award for academic excellence in Immigration Law and served as a fellow in the Brandeis Human Rights Advocacy Program.
Kristen’s legal training and early career were rooted in immigration work. As a law clerk, she developed hands-on experience managing various immigration processes. She also contributed to a published legal report advocating for language access rights for limited English proficiency individuals. Her extensive volunteer work includes assisting detained immigrants through the National Immigration Justice Center, interpreting at La Casita Center legal clinics, and supporting wage-claim cases through the Maxwell Street clinic.
