Kira Botting

Kira Botting is an associate at Rousseau & Ross, PLLC. She represents individuals in Vermont personal injury and workers’ compensation cases. Her work supports people harmed by negligence and helps them move through claims, litigation, mediation, arbitration, and trial with steady guidance focused on the legal needs of injury clients.

Kira completed Vermont’s Law Office Study Program in 12/2022 after reading the law for four years. She received a Bachelor of Arts from DePaul University in 09/2018, majoring in History of Art and Architecture, minoring in Sociology, and studying Law & Critical Social Justice abroad at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Germany.

Kira joined the firm in 2016 as a paralegal and worked on many injury cases before becoming an attorney. She has helped handle insurance claim negotiation, litigation, mediation, arbitration, and trial. This background gives her a clear view of each stage of a personal injury or workers’ compensation legal matter.

Kira worked closely with the firm’s partners on a wide range of injury cases. These matters included car accidents, medical malpractice, product liability, and workers’ compensation. She later passed the bar exam and was admitted to practice in Vermont, where she continues to serve injured clients through focused legal work.

Kira is a Notary Public and a member of the Vermont Bar Association, Vermont Association for Justice, and New Hampshire Association for Justice. Her listed honors include the Dean’s Scholarship at DePaul University from 2013 to 2018. She also serves on the Vermont Association for Justice Board of Governors.

Kira Botting also volunteers as a pro-bono attorney with the Vermont Asylum Assistance Project. She is an advocate for Law Office Study and has spoken about the Program in a panel hosted by the Vermont Bar Association. Her practice remains centered on personal injury and workers’ compensation representation in Vermont.
