About
Kimberly F. Leding is a Bay Area attorney with more than 18 years of civil litigation experience. She works on commercial disputes, creditor rights in bankruptcy, real estate litigation, and other civil matters. Her practice also includes business formations, mechanic’s lien claims, commercial unlawful detainer actions, and trust and probate disputes. She began her career in family law, representing clients in matters involving marital settlement agreements, child custody, child support, and spousal support.
Kimberly received a Bachelor’s Degree in English from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2001. She graduated from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, in 2004. At law school, she served as Chief Technical Editor of the McGeorge Law Review, a position involving close review of legal writing and publication standards. That training supports her civil litigation work, which requires careful document review, analysis of contested facts, and clear written arguments.
Kimberly handles disputes among businesses and property owners, as well as creditor claims arising during bankruptcy cases. She also works on commercial eviction proceedings, mechanic’s liens, and real estate litigation. Her experience extends to trust administration, probate, and litigation concerning trusts or estates. In her earlier family law work, she negotiated agreements governing support and custody matters. These varied responsibilities have given her experience with negotiations, court processes, contracts, and financial interests in several areas of civil practice. Her practice has included both litigation over existing obligations and drafting legal arrangements for clients.
Kimberly F. Leding brings litigation experience across business, property, family, and estate matters. Her work is informed by a background in negotiation and attention to the details that shape legal disputes. She helps clients assess competing claims, organize information needed for litigation, and consider negotiated solutions when appropriate. Her broad civil practice is particularly relevant when disputes involve overlapping property, contractual, and financial issues that must be addressed together.
