Kim N. A. Boras

Kim N. A. Boras leads complex real estate matters with over three decades of deep experience in financings, acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing transactions. She represents lenders and borrowers, buyers and sellers, and landlords and tenants across a wide variety of property types and deal structures in Los Angeles and beyond.

Kim holds a BA from Rollins College and earned her JD from Harvard Law School. Kim is admitted to practice in both California and New York, bringing national insight to her transactional work. Her clients benefit from her legal knowledge and broad understanding of how deals get done across sectors.

Kim advises on complex real estate transactions across all major asset classes, including office buildings, industrial properties, hotels, retail centers, hospitals, schools, and large-scale sports and entertainment venues. Her leasing practice focuses on high-value ground leases and subleases for office, entertainment, and institutional clients. She has led leasing work for marquee properties such as the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and has played a key role in the development and leasing of professional soccer stadium facilities.

In the finance space, Kim works on mortgage and mezzanine loans, portfolio financings, securitizations, restructurings, and synthetic lease arrangements. Her deal experience spans banks, private equity, and nonprofits. She also helps clients with real estate issues in mergers, development, and corporate transactions.

Kim is a dedicated community advocate. She serves on the Board of the Inner City Law Center and leads the Los Angeles Pro Bono Committee. Her nonprofit work includes supporting museums and hospitals with leases and financing structures. As a founding partner of the Black Lawyers Group, she continues to mentor and shape future legal leaders.
