Kim Allen Pennington

Kim Allen Pennington is a retired Minnesota attorney who remains affiliated with PCG Law in St. Cloud as a mediator, arbitrator, and ADR neutral. After nearly 43 years in private legal practice, he ended his active law practice and now provides facilitative and adjudicative dispute resolution services throughout Minnesota. His ADR work includes both pre-suit and pending litigation matters, with sessions available online and in person for parties seeking alternatives to traditional courtroom proceedings.

Kim earned a J.D. with distinction from the University of North Dakota School of Law and a B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of North Dakota. He also completed general mediation and arbitration training at Hamline University School of Law. His legal education and specialized ADR training provided a foundation for decades of litigation, negotiation, mediation, and arbitration work involving complicated civil and family disputes.

Kim provides ADR services involving serious injury and wrongful death claims, business and employment litigation, commercial and real estate disputes, discrimination, harassment, defamation, and family law matters. His work also includes disputes involving estates, trusts, inheritances, and other family legal conflicts. He served for many years on Minnesota Supreme Court qualified-neutral rosters for civil and family matters and continues to serve as a facilitative and adjudicative neutral by agreement of counsel and their clients.

Kim Allen Pennington brings decades of legal and dispute resolution experience to mediation and arbitration matters across Minnesota. He has received recognition through Super Lawyers and Who’s Who in ADR and has held leadership roles in state and local bar organizations.
