Kevin J. Frost

Kevin J. Frost is a personal injury trial lawyer with more than 30 years of litigation experience serving Rockford, Loves Park, and clients throughout Illinois. Kevin represents injured workers, accident victims, and families pursuing wrongful death claims. His practice covers workers’ compensation, car, motorcycle, trucking, construction, and railroad accidents, animal and dog bites, and slip and fall injuries. He also handles medical malpractice, birth injuries, brain and spinal cord injuries, nursing home abuse and neglect, products liability, dangerous drugs, and defective medical devices.

Kevin earned a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1989, graduating with high honors. He later received his Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law. He clerked for the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office and the United States Attorney’s Office. Admitted to the Illinois bar in 1995, he also practices before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. His accounting background supports financial analysis and damage calculations.

Kevin’s representative matters include the 2021 Chemtool industrial explosion in Rockton and the Canadian National Railroad derailment and explosion in Rockford. He served as co-counsel for families affected by the fatal REACT medical helicopter crash and represented people seriously injured in the 2023 Apollo Theatre collapse in Belvidere. His medical device litigation includes claims involving DePuy ASR and Stryker hip implants. He has obtained multimillion-dollar verdicts and settlements in catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases, preparing each matter for possible trial.

He is a member of The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100 and a Life Member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
