Kevin G. Brick

Kevin G. Brick is the founder and president of Brick Business Law, P.A. in Tampa, Florida. He advises local and national businesses as outside general counsel and represents companies in complex business disputes. His practice includes business litigation, corporate counsel and advisory work, business transactions, and co-counsel services for attorneys. He helps business owners assess legal risks, resolve disputes, structure important matters, and make informed decisions that support long-term goals.

Kevin earned a B.A. in Business from Rhodes College in 2000. He received an M.B.A. from Florida State University in 2004, where he served as president of the MBA Association. That same year, he earned his J.D. with honors from Florida State University College of Law. He received the FSU College of Law Pro Bono Award, earned a Book Award in Employment Law, and served on the Florida State Business Review Journal.

Kevin began his legal career as a Hillsborough County prosecutor and took more than 100 cases to trial. He later built extensive experience litigating complex business disputes and serving as outside general counsel. He is also a certified exit planner who helps business owners prepare to sell their companies. In 2024, he led a study focused on using artificial intelligence, automation, and data analytics to improve law firm operations, contributing to the launch of Lex Velo, Inc.

Kevin G. Brick held Florida Bar board certification in business litigation from 2020 through 2025 and did not seek recertification after taking on full-time duties as firm president. His recognitions include an AV Preeminent rating, Florida Legal Elite selections, and Super Lawyers honors. He also serves on the boards of New Life Warehouse and A Door of Hope. His trial background, business judgment, and leadership experience support practical guidance for companies facing disputes, transactions, and growth decisions.
