Kerry R. Peck is the managing partner of Peck Ritchey, LLC, a leading Chicago law firm focusing on elder law, probate, trust, and guardianship litigation. With a distinguished career spanning decades, Mr. Peck is a recognized authority in estate planning and elder law, representing clients that include families, government agencies, banks, and healthcare institutions. He is frequently called upon in complex disputes involving estates, trusts, and guardianships, as well as in high-level public policy discussions surrounding elder justice.
Mr. Peck earned his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law and is licensed to practice in both Illinois and Florida. He is a former President of the 22,000-member Chicago Bar Association and was appointed Chair of the Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Elder Justice in 2021. He was also retained by the City of Chicago to revise the Illinois Elder Abuse and Neglect Act, reflecting his deep involvement in both legal advocacy and legislative reform.
Kerry R. Peck advises fiduciaries through the probate and trust administration process, assists in resolving disputes, and represents parties in contested wills and guardianship matters. He is regularly appointed by the court in complex cases as Guardian ad Litem, Special Administrator, and Successor Trustee.

He teaches and lectures nationwide and has served as an adjunct professor at John Marshall Law School’s Elder Law Studies Program.
