Kenny Jacobs

Kenny Jacobs is an attorney at HUG AND JACOBS LLC in Omaha whose practice focuses on Criminal Defense. He represents clients in matters involving DWI and DUI, drug possession and distribution, assault, firearm possession, traffic offenses, and other criminal charges. Kenny earned a J.D. from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 2009 and a B.S. from Truman State University in 2006. During law school, he participated in the R.D. Hurd Family Law Clinic and interned with the Federal Public Defender’s Office in Omaha and the Minnehaha County Public Defender’s Office. He received the R.D. Hurd Pro Bono Student of the Year Award in 2009 for his volunteer work.

Kenny has handled matters involving traffic and driving offenses, DWI and DUI, assault, drug possession, and drug distribution. His trial experience includes jury trials involving first-degree murder, aggravated assault, and multiple DWI cases. He also completed a 24-hour Practitioner Course in DWI Detection and Standardized Field Sobriety Testing. His public-defense background helps him evaluate criminal investigations, evidence, charging decisions, and trial strategy from an experienced defense perspective.

Kenny Jacobs is admitted in South Dakota, Nebraska, and Missouri and has held leadership roles within the criminal defense bar, including serving as president of the Nebraska Criminal Defense Attorney Association.
