Kenneth E. Siemens is an experienced attorney whose practice centers on complex business, commercial, and high-stakes litigation matters. His work spans contracts, corporate governance, employment law, real estate transactions, estate disputes, and estate planning. He is also deeply involved in catastrophic injury litigation for plaintiffs and defendants across diverse industries and dispute types.
Ken earned a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, summa cum laude, from the University of Missouri–Columbia School of Business in 1990. He also received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Economics, summa cum laude. He later completed his Juris Doctor at the University of Missouri–Columbia in 1993, graduating cum laude.
Ken advises business and corporate clients on daily legal needs such as contract drafting, shareholder agreements, risk analysis, and employment issues. His work includes guiding mergers and acquisitions, supporting governance decisions, and helping organizations navigate complex commercial challenges with practical strategies aligned to long-term operational and financial goals.
Ken has extensive experience in real estate transactions and real estate finance, having handled approximately $700 million in related matters in recent years. He has assisted with domestic and international transactions, successfully working on business sales, mergers, and acquisitions ranging from $1 million to deals exceeding $100 million.
Ken has spent decades representing plaintiffs and defendants in catastrophic injury cases, including product liability claims, commercial vehicle accidents, and incidents causing severe injury or death. This dual perspective allows him to evaluate risk realistically, shape effective strategy, and oversee settlement negotiations that pursue strong outcomes for injured clients.
Ken is admitted to practice in Missouri, Iowa, and Kansas state courts, as well as Missouri federal courts and the 8th Circuit for the United States of America. His recognitions include America’s Top 100 High-Stakes Litigators, America’s Top 100 Bet-the-Company Litigators, an AV-Preeminent Peer Review Rating, and a Client-Champion Platinum rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
