Kelly Grey is the managing partner of Sheffy, Grey & Bedard, LLP in Southington, Connecticut. She represents clients in personal injury litigation, workers’ compensation claims, insurance defense, and landlord-tenant matters. Her personal injury practice includes motor vehicle accidents, wrongful death, uninsured and underinsured driver claims, premises liability, slip-and-fall accidents, dog bites, and dram shop liability. She also handles workplace injury claims, defective equipment cases, third-party lawsuits, and eviction proceedings.
Kelly earned her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2009. She received bachelor’s degrees in psychology and sociology from Central Connecticut State University in 1998 and later earned a master’s degree in forensic psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 2000. This multidisciplinary education supports her ability to assess evidence, understand complex factual circumstances, communicate with clients, and develop practical strategies for litigation and dispute resolution.
Kelly joined the firm as an associate in 2009, became a partner in 2023, and was named managing partner in 2026. She has tried numerous matters before judges and juries across Connecticut and has argued before the Connecticut Appellate Court. Her experience also includes mediations involving the Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities. She is admitted to practice in the state courts of Connecticut and before the US District Court for the District of Connecticut.
Kelly Grey has been recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers and is a member of the Litigation Counsel of America. She also belongs to the Connecticut Bar Association and the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association.
