Katrina M. Ross

Katrina M. Ross, Esq., is a dedicated criminal defense attorney and partner with extensive courtroom and appellate experience. She represents clients facing serious charges, including assault, white collar crimes, DUI, drug offenses, domestic violence, weapons charges, and post-conviction matters. She has tried numerous cases before juries in multiple jurisdictions and successfully argued before appellate courts, including securing reversals of criminal convictions. Her practice is focused on strategic defense and protecting constitutional rights.

Katrina earned her J.D. from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law in 2009 and her B.A. from the University of Northern Iowa in 2006. After law school, she began her career with the Office of the Iowa Public Defender, where she gained significant courtroom experience. Her early work laid a strong foundation in trial advocacy, client counseling, and complex criminal litigation at both the misdemeanor and felony levels.

Katrina later served as a staff attorney with the ACLU of Nevada, where she handled civil rights cases before federal courts and state administrative agencies. In 2013, she joined the Nevada Clark County Office of the Public Defender and managed over 2,000 criminal and motor vehicle cases. As a Team Chief, she supervised attorneys, negotiated pretrial resolutions, and served as lead counsel in serious felony jury trials.

Admitted in Iowa, Nevada, and Connecticut, Katrina M. Ross is also licensed in multiple federal courts, including the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She has been recognized as a Top 10 Criminal Defense Attorney in Connecticut and honored as a Distinguished Member by Lawyers of Distinction.
