Katie Miles-Langford

Katie Miles-Langford is an attorney with Miles Elder Law whose practice focuses on estate planning and elder law. She assists individuals and families with planning for future legal, financial, and care-related needs. Her work includes matters involving trusts, long-term planning, veterans’ benefits, and other issues affecting older adults and people with disabilities. Miles-Langford earned a B.S. in Occupational Therapy from Saint Catherine University, where she was valedictorian. She received her law degree from Saint Louis University School of Law as an 1843 Scholar and earned a Certificate in Health Law. She also received an Academic Excellence Award in a seminar on access to health care. Her education connects legal training with a strong understanding of health, disability, and aging-related concerns.

Miles-Langford previously worked as a licensed occupational therapist with adults and older adults experiencing injury, illness, and disability. She also volunteered with SSM hospice before entering legal practice. Her current work includes estate planning, elder law, special needs trusts, and veterans’ benefits matters, including Aid and Attendance planning and appeals involving service-connected disability benefits. She is accredited by the US Department of Veterans Affairs.
