Before entering legal practice, Katie worked as a licensed addiction counselor and served with the Montana Department of Corrections. After law school, she clerked for Judge Yvonne Laird of the Seventeenth Judicial District Court of Montana, gaining valuable insight into judicial process and legal decision-making.
