Kathryn Ursula Tokarska

Kathryn Ursula Tokarska is a bankruptcy attorney who represents individuals and businesses seeking debt relief and financial restructuring. Her practice focuses on Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy matters, helping clients manage overwhelming debt, stop collection actions, and work toward financial stability. Ms. Tokarska earned her Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Eckerd College. During law school, she focused her studies on bankruptcy law, real estate finance, taxation, trusts and estates, estate planning, and securities regulations. Her academic background and financial training helped build a strong foundation for her legal practice in bankruptcy and financial matters.

Before establishing her law practice, Ms. Tokarska served as a Deputy Public Defender in Riverside County. She also spent more than fifteen years working with major financial investment institutions, where she provided financial planning services and advised clients on investment products and wealth preservation strategies. In addition to her legal training, she holds a financial paraplanner certificate and previously worked as a licensed stockbroker, bringing financial insight to her bankruptcy practice.

Kathryn Ursula Tokarska is admitted to practice before all California State Courts as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern and Central Districts of California. She is active in several professional organizations, including the California Bar Association and San Diego Bar Association. She has also contributed to the community through pro bono legal services and volunteer work, assisting individuals with tax issues, domestic violence matters, and housing-related legal concerns.
