Kasia earned her Bachelor of Arts from DePaul University before completing her J.D. from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law in Chicago, Illinois. Her academic background helped build a strong legal foundation that continues to guide her courtroom work, litigation strategy, and approach to resolving challenging family law matters for individuals and families.

Kasia has extensive courtroom experience from handling both jury and bench trials throughout her career. She works on contested divorce cases, parental disputes, orders of protection, and complicated financial matters. Her understanding of evidentiary rules and litigation procedures allows her to respond effectively when hearings become difficult or unexpected developments arise during proceedings.

Kasia previously served in the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office, where she gained valuable trial experience across misdemeanor, DUI, felony juvenile, domestic violence, and traffic court matters. That role strengthened her litigation skills and sharpened her courtroom instincts. She also worked on the prosecution team in the highly publicized Brian Dugan criminal case.
