Kasey Rachel

Kasey Rachel is a partner at Dorsett Johnson & Cisneros and serves as Statewide Managing Attorney for the firm’s Real Estate, Construction, Business & Estates Practice Groups. Based in Fort Worth, Texas, she has practiced law since 2012 and handles both transactional and litigation matters. Rachel advises clients on residential and commercial real estate, construction, business law, probate, and estate planning, helping them address disputes while also taking preventive steps to reduce future legal risks.

Rachel earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence cum laude from Texas Tech University School of Law and also received a Master of Business Administration from Texas Tech University. She completed her undergraduate education at Texas A&M University, graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts. Her combined legal and business education supports her ability to evaluate transactions, understand commercial concerns, analyze disputes, and provide practical guidance across business, construction, real estate, and estate-related matters.

Rachel has more than a decade of experience working across litigation and transactional law. Her practice includes helping clients navigate complex lawsuits as well as structuring and addressing legal matters before disputes arise. This combination allows her to approach business, real estate, construction, probate, and estate planning concerns from both a dispute-resolution and risk-management perspective. She is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.

Kasey Rachel is Board Certified in Residential Real Estate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. She received the Johnson County Bar Association’s Jack C. Altaras Award for Outstanding Young Attorney of the Year in 2014 and was named Young Professional of the Year by the Cleburne Chamber of Commerce in 2019. Rachel is also a member of CREW Network and the Tarrant County Bar Association and volunteers with the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo Ambassador Committee.
