Kaili Cusack

Kaili Cusack focuses her practice on estate and income tax planning and estate administration. She works closely with individuals and families to design plans that protect wealth and support long-term goals. Kaili Cusack also advises clients on complex trust structures and tax strategies that address changing financial and legal needs.

Kaili earned a Bachelor of Arts, high honors, 2012, from the University of Texas at Austin. She received her J.D., magna cum laude, in  2015 from Texas Tech University School of Law. She later completed an LL.M. in Taxation in 2017 at New York University School of Law, further strengthening her tax knowledge.

Kaili provides guidance on trusts and estate matters with careful attention to detail. She helps clients prepare estate plans that reduce tax exposure and ensure smooth wealth transfers. Her work includes advising on generation-skipping trust issues and other advanced planning techniques that require thoughtful legal and tax analysis.

Kaili has shared her knowledge through several seminars and presentations. She has presented at the Chamberlain Hrdlicka Forum Series on “Like Nails on a Chalkboard: Irritating, Aggravating, and Altogether Annoying Generation Skipping Trust Issues.” She has also spoken at the 45th Annual Houston Tax and Business Planning Seminar and the 43rd Annual Tax and Business Planning Virtual Seminar.

Kaili has been recognized for her work in trusts and estates and tax law. She is Listed, Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America – Trusts and Estates (2021-2026).
