About

Justin S. Elrod is the founder of The Elrod Firm and a Certified Elder Law Attorney serving clients across Arkansas. His practice covers estate planning for people of all ages, asset protection for those concerned about future long-term care costs, and emergency planning for families facing immediate care needs. His practice began in Bryant and now serves the state through offices in Bryant, Hot Springs Village, Fayetteville, and Bentonville.

Justin received a business degree from the University of Arkansas before attending the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law. He graduated at the top of his law school class. His business and legal studies provide a foundation for work involving family assets and estate arrangements. He also serves as an adjunct professor of law at the William H. Bowen School of Law.

Justin’s planning work addresses both preparation for the future and decisions arising during a long-term care emergency. His firm’s estate planning services include wills and revocable living trusts, with attention to asset distribution and the selection of executors or trustees. These arrangements also address how inheritances are managed for younger beneficiaries. The practice helps families consider who will manage assets and how their wishes will be carried out.

Justin S. Elrod holds certification from the National Elder Law Foundation and serves on its national board of directors. He is also an Accredited Attorney with the Department of Veterans Affairs. He wrote You Need A Plan, hosts the Plan & Protect Podcast, and contributes to Arkansas magazines and newspapers. Through teaching, writing, and presentations to community groups, he explains why planning matters for families facing estate and care decisions.
