About
Justin Meek is a partner at DeWitt, Paruolo & Meek whose practice is devoted substantially to insurance bad faith and other insurance law. His work covers coverage, benefits, regulation, claims handling, uninsured and underinsured motorist issues, and disputes involving multiple lines of insurance. His broader civil practice includes business transactions, trust and estate litigation, class actions, attorney malpractice, personal injury, contracts, and employment law.
Meek’s education combines business study with legal training completed in Oklahoma City. He earned a B.S. in International Business and Marketing from Oklahoma State University in 2002 and a J.D. from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2006, providing a foundation for insurance, commercial, employment, and civil litigation matters involving detailed contractual and financial issues.
Meek’s insurance practice includes litigation, mediation, arbitration, trial work, consulting, and training on coverage and claim-handling issues. He has handled matters involving uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage, bad faith, regulatory concerns, and insurance benefits. He further represents clients in business, trust and estate, class action, malpractice, personal injury, contract, and employment disputes when their matters require broader civil litigation experience.
Justin Meek has been selected to Oklahoma Super Lawyers for multiple consecutive years and has appeared in the publication’s Top 50 list in several years. He was appointed to the Oklahoma Ethics Commission in 2023. His practice combines insurance knowledge with civil litigation experience, supporting clients through coverage questions, contested claims, negotiations, alternative dispute resolution, and courtroom proceedings when an insurance or business dispute requires formal advocacy.
