Justin M. Fowlks

Justin M. Fowlks is the founding attorney of Fowlks Law Firm in San Antonio, Texas, where he represents clients in criminal defense and personal injury matters. His practice covers DWI defense, assault, drug offenses, family violence, car accidents, truck accidents, and other injury claims. Born and raised in San Antonio, Justin has handled complex criminal cases across Texas and represented injured individuals in matters involving workplace accidents and catastrophic vehicle collisions.

Justin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Political Science from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2015. He earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2018, where he made the Dean’s List and served on Phi Delta Phi’s Executive Board. His legal education also included international programs in Beijing, China, and Innsbruck, Austria.

As a student defense attorney at St. Mary’s Criminal Justice Clinic, Justin represented low-income juveniles and adults facing criminal charges ranging from misdemeanors to capital offenses. After obtaining his law license, he joined a criminal defense firm and handled complex, high-stakes cases across Texas counties. He also managed personal injury claims involving workplace accidents, catastrophic trucking collisions, and automobile accidents. He later worked as a plaintiff’s attorney at large personal injury firms before establishing his own practice.

Justin M. Fowlks was admitted to the Texas Bar in 2018 and is admitted to practice before the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Western, and Southern Districts of Texas. His professional affiliations include the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, San Antonio Trial Lawyers Association, Mexican American Bar Association, San Antonio Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
