About

Justin Curcio is a partner at Curcio Law in Alexandria, Virginia, representing people in personal injury matters. His practice is informed by more than four years working as in-house counsel for an insurance defense firm before he joined Curcio Law in January 2020. He brings that experience to cases involving injured people and disputed insurance claims. His background helps him evaluate how defendants and insurance companies approach evidence, liability, and proposed settlements.

Justin earned a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science Policy and Law from Binghamton University in 2010. He completed his J.D. at St. John’s University School of Law in 2015, where he received an academic scholarship. He participated in the American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review and Moot Court Honor Society. He also spent a semester at the University of Glasgow School of Law and worked with the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office during law school.

Justin entered the Virginia Bar in 2015 and gained firsthand experience defending cases for Allstate, Esurance, and Encompass. That work provided insight into insurance investigations, litigation strategy, and the evaluation of injury claims. He now applies this knowledge to personal injury representation, assessing contested facts and the impact of an injury on a client. His legal work calls for close attention to records, liability questions, and communications with insurers.

Justin Curcio is active in the Alexandria Bar Association, where he has served on its board of directors and Judicial Screening Committee and previously chaired its young lawyers’ group. He also participates in the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, including its ethics and membership committees, and the American Association for Justice. These professional activities complement his work for injured clients throughout Northern Virginia and his commitment to careful case preparation.
