Julie M. Edwards is a Partner at Nicholas & Tangeman, LLC, where she assists clients with estate planning, business law, probate, and real estate matters. Since joining the firm in 2007, she has advised individuals, families, and business owners on strategies to protect assets, transfer wealth, and achieve long-term financial goals. Edwards became a partner in 2015 and continues to provide clients with tailored legal solutions grounded in years of experience.

Edwards earned her B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Wyoming in 1993 before completing her J.D. at the University of Wyoming College of Law in 1997. She is admitted to practice law in Wyoming, Colorado, and Nevada and is a member of Wealth Counsel, a national community of estate planning professionals dedicated to advancing best practices in the field. Her admissions and affiliations reflect her commitment to providing effective legal representation across multiple jurisdictions.

Before returning to Wyoming, Edwards practiced law in Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Las Vegas, Nevada, where she built deep experience in sophisticated estate planning for high-net-worth individuals and business owners. Her work focused on structuring family-owned businesses, creating irrevocable trusts, and designing charitable giving strategies to help reduce or eliminate estate tax exposure. Julie M. Edwards is deeply engaged in her community and has served as President of the Board of Directors for Family Promise of Albany County, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting homeless families. She is also an active member of the Laramie Kiwanis Club and has volunteered with Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Wyoming, Hospice of Laramie, and the Eppson Center for Seniors Foundation.
