Julie A. O’Halloran is a family law attorney and mediator with more than 36 years of experience. She guides clients through the complexities of divorce and helps families address difficult legal and personal issues with a focus on practical, lasting solutions. Her current practice centers on mediation, where she works with families and attorneys to resolve disputes in ways intended to benefit everyone involved.

Julie received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1986 and her juris doctorate from Marquette University Law School in 1989. While in law school, she served as Student Articles Editor for the Marquette Law Review and received the Zilber Law and American Academy of Matrimonial Law scholarships. In 2012, she completed a two-year program at Marquette University and earned an advanced certificate in dispute resolution.

Julie’s practice also includes preparing and negotiating prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. Her extensive dispute resolution training supports a thoughtful approach to sensitive family matters, with careful attention to each party’s needs and long-term interests. She has also shared her knowledge as a speaker and guest lecturer at legal seminars across the country, addressing divorce, mediation, cooperative negotiation, financial settlements, support issues, and other family law topics.

Julie A. O’Halloran is admitted to practice in Wyoming and Wisconsin. She has served in leadership roles with family law and dispute resolution organizations and remains active in local philanthropy through board service. Her professional recognition includes selection for Best Lawyers in America and Outstanding Lawyers in America, more than 28 consecutive years of Super Lawyers recognition, and an AV Preeminent peer review rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
