Julia Ketcham Corbett is a Minnesota lawyer with more than 30 years of experience representing individuals, small businesses, and mid-market companies. Her practice focuses on employment law, family law, civil litigation, mediation, and arbitration. Julia earned a B.A. from Winona State University, graduating magna cum laude in 1991. She received her J.D. from Hamline University in 1994, graduating cum laude. During law school, she was part of the Silver Gavel Honor Society and served as Articles Editor of the Hamline Law Review. Her education supports her detailed approach to legal analysis, writing, negotiation, and dispute resolution.
Julia provides human resource advice and counseling to business clients on the legal relationship between employers and employees. She conducts internal investigations, responds to EEOC and MDHR charges, drafts and reviews employment policies, handbooks, non-compete agreements, and releases, and provides workplace training. In family law, she focuses on high-net-worth divorces and complex financial matters where no minor children are involved.
