Juan Sanchez

Juan Sanchez is a personal injury law and workers’ compensation attorney at Olive Sanchez & Associates who has practiced law since 1995. He is licensed in North Carolina and Florida and has successfully handled thousands of workers’ compensation claims. He also represents clients in personal injury matters involving car accidents, bicycle accidents, dog bites, product liability, and slip and fall incidents. His practice focuses on helping injured people navigate difficult legal and financial challenges after accidents.

Juan earned his J.D. from Florida State University, College of Law. He earned his B.A. in English from Florida International University. After law school, he served as an Assistant State Attorney in Fort Myers, Florida, before working as in-house counsel for a national insurance company. His early defense experience gave him insight into insurer strategies and claims handling, which later informed his work representing injured individuals and workers effectively statewide.

Juan moved to Charlotte in 2005 and developed a workers’ compensation department that he led for 18 years. In 2023, he helped establish a new practice focused on continuing long-standing service to injured clients. He is a Board-Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law, a credential recognizing focused knowledge and experience in the field. His work includes claim evaluation, negotiation, litigation, and guidance through North Carolina’s workers’ compensation process statewide.

Juan Sanchez has received recognition including Who’s Who Latino American and a Distinguished Special Achievement award from the State Attorney’s Office. He is a veteran of the US Army Reserve and received an honorable discharge. He is fluent in English and Spanish and belongs to the North Carolina State Bar and Florida State Bar.
