Joy N. Jackson

Joy N. Jackson is CEO and Partner at Faber and Brand LLC in Columbia, Missouri. She works in creditors’ rights and collection law for a multi-state law firm that represents financial institutions, debt buyers, healthcare organizations, retailers, insurance carriers, and other creditor clients. Joy is licensed to practice in Missouri, Arkansas, and Illinois. Her work supports lawful recovery, judgment resolution, and client service in regulated collection matters.

Joy earned her J.D. from the University of Missouri School of Law in 2004. She also received a B.S. in Political Science from Truman State University in 2001. Her education provides a strong foundation in legal analysis, advocacy, public policy, and practical problem solving. This background supports her ability to guide creditor clients and legal teams through issues in collection law, compliance concerns, and litigation strategy.

Joy joined Faber and Brand in 2005, became a partner in 2010, and later became CEO. Her experience includes advocating for creditors in a practice that serves clients across multiple states. She has held leadership roles within the firm involving operations, public policy, compliance, and attorney management. Through this work, Joy helps the firm address collection litigation, subrogation, commercial claims, consumer accounts, and judgment execution with professionalism and careful attention to legal requirements.

Joy N. Jackson serves on the board of the National Creditors Bar Association and has held leadership roles with the Missouri Creditors Bar, Inc. and the Missouri Collectors Association. She has also been involved with the Missouri Bar Bankruptcy Creditor-Debtor Rights Committee and other professional organizations. Joy combines industry leadership, creditor advocacy, and practical management experience to support clients, attorneys, and the broader creditors’ rights community.
