Joshua Peistrup

Joshua Peistrup is a seasoned litigation attorney and co-founder of Beck Peistrup, Ltd., serving Marysville, Union County, and the surrounding communities. He focuses his practice on family and juvenile law, personal injury, and felony-level criminal defense, bringing more than a decade of courtroom experience to every case.

Joshua earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The Ohio State University in 2001 and his Juris Doctor from Capital University Law School in 2007. He was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 2007 and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio in 2008.

Throughout his career, Joshua has represented hundreds of clients in complex custody battles, child support cases, and juvenile court matters. As a Guardian ad Litem for approximately ten years, he gained valuable insight into child-focused litigation and earned the trust of colleagues and families alike for his balanced and compassionate approach.

Joshua also advocates for clients injured due to others’ negligence, handling both negotiations and civil jury trials with confidence. In criminal defense, he defends individuals facing serious felony charges and misdemeanor offenses, offering aggressive representation and in-depth legal strategy.
