Josh Dowling

Josh Dowling is a Nevada personal injury trial lawyer who represents injured people and families in complex cases involving catastrophic injuries. He has practiced in Nevada since 2013 and manages a Reno office. He began his career in insurance defense before changing sides in 2015 to represent injured plaintiffs. His background gives him experience evaluating claims from both perspectives while preparing cases for settlement discussions, litigation, and trial.

Josh earned his J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2012 after completing a B.S. in Sociology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He is admitted to practice in Nevada and before the US District Court for the District of Nevada. His legal education and early insurance defense work support his ability to analyze liability, damages, litigation strategy, and the arguments insurers may raise in serious injury disputes.
