Joseph R. Ferretti

Joseph R. Ferretti serves Of Counsel at Manchin Injury Law in Martinsburg, West Virginia. His practice focuses on personal injury claims involving automobile accidents, pedestrian and cycling injuries, defective home construction, medical malpractice, and wrongful death. He has represented people across the Eastern Panhandle for decades. Joseph received B.A. degrees in Economics and Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh in 1984 and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1987. He began his legal career with a West Virginia insurance defense firm, where he litigated motor vehicle and medical malpractice claims. His education and early defense work provide a basis for assessing contested injury claims and anticipating opposing arguments.

In 1992, Ferretti co-founded Hammer Ferretti & Schiavoni. He later established Ferretti Law Office, PLLC after changes in that firm’s partnership, and worked with Manchin Ferretti beginning in 2020.
