Joseph Alain Moro is the founder and managing attorney of Moro Legal, LLC, a Denver-based law office devoted exclusively to US immigration law. He focuses on family visas, employment visas, permanent residence, consular processing, and U.S. citizenship. His work further includes waivers of inadmissibility, removal of conditions, adjustment of status, visa renewals, and immigration matters involving businesses, investors, employees, and families.
Mr. Moro earned his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. During law school, he worked with the Transnational Legal Clinic on humanitarian immigration and migrant farmworker rights matters. He further served as Senior Editor of the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Law and Social Change. He earned a Wharton Certificate in Management and a B.A. in Spanish Literature from Georgia State University, graduating summa cum laude.
Mr. Moro began his legal career outside immigration practice, working as a litigator for a national law firm. He later served the State of Colorado as a trial attorney, appellate counsel, and Deputy State Public Defender. He subsequently established Moro Legal, LLC to concentrate on immigration matters. He represents clients seeking family-based and employment-based visas, green cards, naturalization, consular processing, and other immigration benefits.
Joseph Alain Moro is admitted to practice in Colorado and New Mexico. He is further admitted before U.S. Immigration Courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals, the U.S. Tax Court, and the U.S. Court of International Trade. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian. His professional background combines immigration advocacy, appellate work, trial experience, and multilingual representation for clients in the United States and abroad.
