Jonathan Lyvere

Jonathan Lyvere is a proud Hayward, California native whose journey from U.S. Air Force rescuer to attorney reflects his lifelong dedication to helping others. During his six years of military service, he flew rescue missions across the globe, including in Iraq, where he developed a profound respect for the American legal system and a calling to pursue a career in law.

Jonathan earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Santa Clara School of Law. While completing his education, he continued his service with the U.S. Air Force, balancing rescue missions with work as a paralegal in a Bay Area law firm and as a clerk for the Santa Clara and San Mateo District Attorneys’ Offices. His academic and professional experiences gave him a strong foundation in both legal analysis and public service.

After being admitted to the California State Bar, Jonathan launched his own law practice, driven by a passion for advocacy and a desire to serve those most in need. His transition from flying rescue missions to representing clients in court underscores his belief in service, justice, and compassion. He continues to approach each case with the same commitment and discipline that defined his military career.

Beyond his private practice, Jonathan Lyvere remains deeply involved in the local veterans’ community, frequently volunteering his time and offering pro bono legal services to fellow veterans and underserved individuals. His unwavering dedication to helping others—both in and out of uniform—defines his professional philosophy and continues to guide his legal practice across California.
