Jonathan L. (Jon) Wertman

Jonathan L. Wertman is an attorney at Pill & Pill, PLLC in Martinsburg, West Virginia. His current practice focuses on real estate, title, and foreclosure matters. Before joining Pill & Pill in 2016, Wertman worked primarily as a civil litigator for firms with statewide, regional, and national practices. He is licensed as a title insurance agent for several national insurers and has presented on real estate topics at the West Virginia Bar Association’s annual conference.

Jonathan L. Wertman has served on the Charles Town City Council and as president of the Charles Town Planning Commission. His other public service has included nonprofit board responsibilities. He is admitted before the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals and federal district and bankruptcy courts in the state. His practice brings litigation experience and community involvement to the legal needs of property owners and transaction participants.
