Jonathan James is the founding attorney of the Law Office of Jonathan James, LLC, based in Rockford, Illinois. Mr. James earned his J.D. from Northern Illinois University College of Law and his B.S. from Clemson University, where he made the Dean’s and President’s Lists and was a member of the Upsilon Pi Epsilon Honor Society. Before entering law, he worked in the technology field as a software engineer and network administrator, giving him analytical and problem-solving skills that enhance his legal practice.

While in law school, Mr. James gained valuable experience working with the Winnebago County State’s Attorney’s Office, where he assisted in prosecuting DUI and traffic offenses. Since founding his practice, he has successfully represented clients throughout Illinois in felony, misdemeanor, and traffic cases.
