Jonathan Holfinger

Jonathan Holfinger is a seasoned real estate attorney and title professional who served as president of Northwest Law and the Northwest Title Family of Companies. He is widely respected for his leadership and dedication to the real estate and land title industries in Ohio and beyond.

Jonathan earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Miami University before completing his Juris Doctor at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. He was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 2002 and the Kentucky Bar in 2011, and has since become a trusted advisor for real estate professionals and clients across state lines.

Jonathan’s practice spans advising buyers, sellers, brokers, lenders, and investors in real estate transactions. Over time, he has expanded his role to serve as counsel for real estate brokerages and professional associations, providing guidance on regulatory compliance, transaction structure, and industry best practices.

Jonathan is one of just 16 professionals in Ohio to earn the prestigious Ohio Land Title Professional (OLTP) designation and one of only two statewide to hold the American Land Title Association’s elite National Title Professional (NTP) credential. These top industry certifications showcase his trusted leadership, extensive real estate and title education work, and long-standing dedication to elevating professional standards in the land title industry.

Jonathan received ALTA’s 2022 “We Lead” Award for founding and leading the OLTA Academy, a program created to train and certify professionals in title standards and ethics. His work has consistently supported the advancement of the title profession through committee leadership and association service.
