Jonathan regularly assists both domestic and international businesses with immigration matters. His work involves dealing with agencies such as the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services and the U.S. Department of Labor. He also supports clients in matters before U.S. Consulates and Embassies and other government offices.
Jonathan has also worked on litigation matters related to employment laws. These include cases involving the FLSA, ADA, FMLA, and Title VII. He helps clients understand their responsibilities and defends their interests by preparing strong legal arguments and guiding them through legal proceedings when needed.
Jonathan gained valuable experience earlier in his career working within the judicial system. He served as a senior staff attorney for the South Carolina Court of Appeals. He also worked closely as a law clerk to the Honorable Paula H. Thomas, gaining insight into appellate decision-making and legal analysis.
