John Malvik

John Malvik is a Senior Attorney who was admitted to the bar in 1974. He is licensed in Illinois, the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. District Courts of Northern and Central Illinois, providing long-standing legal service across multiple jurisdictions.

John earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Education from Augustana College and later received his Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law, building a strong academic base that supports his decades of legal knowledge and professional experience.

John focuses his practice on personal injury, workers’ compensation, labor law, and bankruptcy. He helps clients manage complex legal matters, protects their rights, and guides them through each step with steady, practical support.

John is a member of the American Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, and Rock Island County Bar Association. He has also held leadership roles, including Chairman and Newsletter Editor for an Illinois Bar education committee.
