John L. Williams, Esquire, is a distinguished attorney with deep expertise in Delaware business law, estate planning, and litigation. As President of Agents and Corporations, Inc., he manages incorporation and registered agent services for over 16,000 Delaware LLCs and corporations, including high-profile companies like Pinterest, Inc. His practice focuses on business entity formation, corporate governance, trust and estate administration, and business litigation.

John earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy from Williams College in 1998 and his Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law in 2001. He gained invaluable experience through summer clerkships with Vice Chancellor Jack B. Jacobs of the Delaware Court of Chancery and Justice Joseph T. Walsh of the Delaware Supreme Court. Additionally, he completed an externship with the Patent Law Division at The Coca-Cola Company, further broadening his legal acumen.

Admitted to practice in Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Massachusetts, New York, and the 3rd Circuit Federal Court of Appeals, John is a recognized leader in corporate law. He serves as an ABA Advisor to the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws for the Series of Unincorporated Business Entities Act Drafting Committee. He chairs the ABA’s Committee on Partnerships and LLCs.

John’s legal work encompasses Delaware LLC and corporate formation, business succession planning, contract negotiation, corporate governance, litigation involving business valuation, fiduciary duty breaches, and partner disputes. He has successfully represented various clients, including medical professionals, corporate executives, entrepreneurs, musicians, and nonprofit organizations. His notable cases include securing a favorable post-trial settlement in the Delaware Court of Chancery on complex corporate law matters.
