Jodi G. Wilson has dedicated more than two decades to helping individuals, families, and small businesses address complex legal challenges. Her practice has centered on family law, divorce, litigation, special education, and school law matters. Through years of advocacy in both California and Illinois, she has developed a broad understanding of legal issues affecting families and business owners. Her experience across multiple jurisdictions provides valuable insight when addressing matters that require careful legal analysis and practical solutions.

Jodi earned a degree from San Diego State University in 1976 with Highest Honors. She obtained a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Northwestern University in 1980. She earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law in 1987, graduating with Honors. Licensed to practice law in Illinois, Wisconsin, and California, she is a member of the Illinois Bar Association, California Bar Association, Wisconsin Bar Association, Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates, North Suburban Bar Association, and American Speech Language Hearing Association.

Jodi began her legal career after graduating with Honors from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. She first practiced at LeBeouf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae, a national law firm where she gained experience handling a wide range of legal matters. After leaving large-firm practice, she focused her career on representing clients in family law, divorce, and litigation cases. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with clients facing significant personal and legal transitions.

Jodi’s work in family law is strengthened by her training as a family law mediator. She received family law mediation training and a certificate from DePaul University, adding another dimension to her ability to assist families in resolving disputes. Her experience practicing in both California and Illinois has also provided a unique perspective on differing family law statutes, court procedures, and legal interpretations.

Jodi G. Wilson has established a strong focus on special education and school law matters. Her background as a Speech-Language Pathologist, combined with personal experience as the mother of a disabled child, has shaped her commitment to advocating for students with special needs. This combination of legal knowledge and specialized educational training allows her to understand the challenges faced by families seeking appropriate educational services and support.
