Jim Beasley Jr.

Jim Beasley Jr. serves as managing member of The Beasley Firm, continuing his father’s legacy while adapting the firm to modern legal challenges. Under his leadership, the firm is a premier destination for complex civil litigation involving malpractice, aviation law, and business torts.

Jim holds an M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine (1994), a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School (1997), and an LL.M. in Trial Advocacy with honors from Temple University Beasley School of Law (2003). He also completed an undergraduate degree in molecular biology at Temple, graduating through the Honors program.

With more than $300 million secured in client verdicts and settlements, Jim has been repeatedly honored by peers and legal organizations. His accolades include Best Lawyers in America recognition, a Top 100 Pennsylvania Super Lawyer title since 2006, and ranking among the top 75 plaintiffs’ attorneys nationwide.

Jim’s medical and law background uniquely positions him for high-impact litigation, particularly in medical malpractice and aviation accident claims. Jim is also a Fellow of the American College of Legal Medicine and lectures frequently on complex litigation topics at legal forums and academic institutions.

In addition to trial work, Jim emphasizes giving back through pro bono representation and legal education outreach. He is a recipient of the Philadelphia Volunteer for the Indigent Program award and actively supports Temple’s LEAP program, which exposes high school students to the legal system via mock trials.

Jim Beasley Jr. is also an accomplished commercial pilot, flying rare World War II fighter aircraft. As one of a few civilians the U.S. Air Force chose for air show demonstrations, he brings the same focus and precision to aviation as he does to litigation. His dedication in and out of the courtroom exemplifies his commitment to justice, innovation, and community service.
