Jessica L. Stoppel

Jessica L. Stoppel is a partner at Clark, Mize & Linville, Chartered, in Salina, Kansas. She focuses on elder law, estate planning, long-term care/asset protection planning, and estate administration after death. Jessica prepares tailored plans for individuals and families, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives. Jessica earned her B.S., magna cum laude, from Kansas State University in 2009, studying Business Marketing and Leadership Studies. She received her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2012. After working as an associate attorney in Dodge City from 2012 to 2015, she joined her current firm in 2015 and became a partner in 2020.

Jessica’s elder law work includes advising clients on preserving assets while planning for access to long-term care benefits such as Medicaid. She helps with the Medicaid Division of Assets process and the KanCare application system. Her estate planning practice considers each client’s circumstances when preparing legal documents. In post-death matters, she works with families through the requirements of estate and trust administration.
