Jerry Darnall

Jerry Darnall has built a long legal career focused on real estate, finance, elder law, and civil trial matters. With more than 20 years of experience, he has worked in executive leadership and legal counsel roles for national corporations. His background also includes service in legislative and congressional counsel positions within Texas and the U.S. House of Representatives.

Jerry earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Texas State University as a cum laude graduate. He later completed a Master of Legal Studies and a Master of Public Administration degree from Texas State University. He also earned a Juris Doctorate from Texas and became a Certified Senior Advisor during his professional career.

Jerry expanded his legal practice to Idaho in 2009 after relocating from Texas in 2004 for a Deputy General Counsel position with a national company. Before entering private legal practice, he spent 16 years with Target Corporation and later joined Barclays. His work has included commercial transactions, civil litigation, executive management, and corporate legal representation for national organizations.

Jerry has also contributed to community and nonprofit efforts throughout his career. He serves as a Member of the Board of Directors of Eagle, Meridian, and Star Sports Academy, Inc., an Idaho non-profit corporation focused on supporting future community growth. He remains active in charitable organizations and continues supporting programs that benefit families and local youth.

Jerry has experience handling matters connected to media attention and public figures, including cases involving Sandra Bullock, George Kennedy & Tom Selleck. He is licensed to practice law in Idaho, Texas, multiple United States District Courts in Texas, the United States District Court of Idaho, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He also serves on the American Bar Association Committee on Corporate Counsel and Business Law.

Jerry Darnall continues to use his broad legal and executive background to guide clients through complex matters involving business law, finance, litigation, and elder law. His experience in corporate leadership, public service, and courtroom representation has helped individuals and organizations manage difficult legal situations with confidence and practical direction.
