Jenny Marston

Jenny Marston is a skilled labor and employment attorney and shareholder at PRH Labor Law, where she represents public sector clients in a wide range of employment and labor matters. Her practice includes collective bargaining, unfair labor practice litigation, arbitration, workplace investigations, and employment law compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Jenny earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Oregon School of Law and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Montana. Her legal training was further sharpened through a prestigious clerkship with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, where she focused on complex employment and labor law issues at the federal appellate level.

Before joining PRH in 2021, Jenny built a diverse legal background that combines advocacy, advisory, and leadership experience. She served as in-house counsel for a major labor union and later as an assistant city attorney for a large Oregon municipality. During her tenure, she also served as interim Human Resources Director, bringing practical personnel management expertise to complement her legal expertise.

Jenny delivers practical, strategic guidance in both advisory and litigation matters. She helps organizations draft and update personnel policies, provides supervisor and management training, and leads sensitive internal workplace investigations. With a well-rounded perspective on public sector labor and employment issues, she is a skilled negotiator and trusted advisor to government entities facing complex workforce and labor relations challenges.

Licensed to practice in Oregon, Washington, and California, Jenny is a respected voice in the employment law community. She is a frequent speaker at legal education seminars and served as a contributing editor to the latest edition of Labor & Employment Law in Oregon: Public Sector. She also serves on the Oregon State Bar’s Labor and Employment Section Executive Committee.
