Jennings B. Anderson

Jennings B. Anderson is a South Carolina attorney whose practice focuses primarily on family law while also representing clients in estate planning, probate, and personal injury matters. As a member of Nicholson, Meredith & Anderson, he serves individuals and families throughout Greenwood and surrounding communities. He provides practical legal guidance in divorce, child custody, visitation, adoption, guardianships, wills, powers of attorney, and probate administration. He also represents clients in personal injury cases and serves as a Guardian ad Litem in both Family Court and Probate Court proceedings.

Anderson successfully completed his Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Carolina in 1999 before serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in Negrești-Oaș, Romania, where he taught high school English from 2000 to 2002. He later completed a Master of International Studies at the University of South Carolina in 2004 and received his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2007.

Anderson served as Student Works Editor for the South Carolina Journal of International Law and Business during law school. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar, the Greenwood County Bar Association, and the South Carolina Association for Justice.

Jennings B. Anderson joined Nicholson, Meredith & Anderson in 2007, continuing a family tradition in the Greenwood legal community spanning more than six decades. His grandfather, J. Perrin Anderson, served as the first judge of the Greenwood County Family Court. His father, J. P. Anderson Jr., practiced with the firm for many years. Drawing on this legacy and his broad experience, he is committed to providing thoughtful, personalized representation. He helps clients navigate complex family, estate, and probate matters with confidence and care.
