Jennifer Magalhaes Cuddy is a partner in Reed Smith’s Global Real Estate Group in Tysons. She has a broad commercial real estate practice representing clients across the United States. Her work includes acquisitions and dispositions, commercial leasing, lease portfolio projects, development matters, mixed-use projects, schools, industrial assets, retail properties, and financing. She represents owners, landlords, tenants, borrowers, and lenders in transactions involving improved and unimproved commercial property.

Cuddy earned a J.D. magna cum laude from New York Law School and a B.A. cum laude from the University of Virginia. Her academic background supports a transactional practice requiring detailed document review, negotiation, risk allocation, and careful coordination among owners, tenants, lenders, developers, and public entities. This training helps her structure agreements and address legal issues that arise throughout acquisitions, leasing, development, and financing transactions.
