Jeffrey R. Matsen

Jeffrey R. Matsen served as Of Counsel to Bohm Wildish & Matsen, LLP and practiced law for nearly 50 years, focusing on estate planning, business transactional law, and asset protection. His work supported clients in both domestic and international matters, including trust and estate administration, litigation, and offshore planning.

Jeffrey earned his Juris Doctor with honors from UCLA School of Law in 1967 and received a B.A. cum laude from Brigham Young University in 1964. Admitted to the California Bar in 1968, he also practiced before the U.S. Tax Court and the United States Supreme Court. His strong academic and legal credentials enabled him to serve clients with exceptional legal insight.

Over the course of his career, Jeffrey built a reputation for integrity, professionalism, and legal excellence. He was a prolific speaker, lecturer, and author, including his work for the American Bar Association on asset protection. His areas of practice extended to business succession, elder law, probate, retirement planning, real estate, international investment, and tax law.
