Jeff earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota in 1980, graduating cum laude. He went on to receive an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University in 1981. He completed his undergraduate studies at Macalester College, earning a Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude in 1974. He is also a member of Phi Beta Kappa, a testament to his strong academic record.
