Jeff Brown

Jeff Brown has practiced law since 1975 and brings long experience to clients facing serious legal matters. His work covers commercial/civil litigation, criminal defense, personal injury, real estate, and professional license matters. He is also a Florida-certified mediator with a strong record of resolving disputes.

Jeff graduated from the University of Minnesota before continuing his legal studies. He studied law at Stanford University Law School and received his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law, where he graduated first in his class. His academic background helped prepare him for a wide legal career.

Jeff began his career as a Trial Attorney in the Civil Division of the Dept of Justice from 1975 to 1976. After that, he continued in private practice from 1976 to the present. His courtroom and litigation background gave him the skills to handle complex disputes.

Jeff has represented clients in matters involving insurance companies, corporate entities, criminal charges, injury claims, real estate issues, and license concerns. As a mediator, he has successfully settled hundreds of cases. This experience helps him understand both negotiation and litigation from several practical angles.

Jeff is admitted in Florida, the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida, U.S. Court of Appeals, 5th Circuit, U.S. Court of Appeals, 11th Circuit, U.S. District Court, Central District of Illinois, U.S. Court of Appeals, Federal Circuit, and U.S. Supreme Court.

Jeff has lectured at Marymount College, Florida Atlantic University, Broward Community College, and Broward Correctional Institute. His recognition includes Executive Editor, Stetson Law Review, 1975, author credits in Stetson Law Review, and AV rated by Martindale Hubbell. He has also served in bar and community roles.
